Antique Bowl from Puglia, Southern Italy. It represents the finest and most expensive kind of this domestic, ‘ceramica rustica’ with its ivory-coloured glaze known as ‘robba bianca’ and distinctive serrated rim.
 
Likely dating back to the late 1800s.
 
Size: 26 cm diameter x 10 cm tall
 
These are antique ceramics handcrafted in the local village pottery and used for generations. They were never 100% perfect so please expect worn and used condition from an item of its age with small cracks and chips which gives them their own charm and character.
